California Pizza Kitchen International Plaza PRIORITY SEATING

My daughter and I were shopping nearby and decided to grab dinner. We were seated quickly. We sat next to the waiters’ order station. It took 15 minutes for the server to acknowledge us we almost left) and get our drink order and another 10 minutes for him to take our order. We were ready 2 minutes after arriving. It was busy, but not that busy. He didn’t seem to care. That’s the only time he stopped at our table until the bill was delivered. The service was awful but the cauliflower crust pizzas were wonderful shrimp scampi and Sicilian). We will try California Pizza Kitchen again, but probably at a different location.

I thought I had made a real reservation, but I found out when I got there that “priority seating” does not mean that there is really an actual reservation, so 6 of us had to wait for a table for 6 people to become available. Not at all what I had expected, but we had no other choice by then, as it was too late to drag little kids to go to another restaurant without an advance reservation.

The service was fantastic, the pizza was delicious, and the sangria flight was amazing.
