The Good Home Takanini

Really enjoyed the meal last night. Ribs were good and the seafood chowder was lovely. Portion sizes are good and the service was fast.

Dined here last night with my family of four for the first time and we all enjoyed ourselves. Service was on point and friendly. Despite the venue being quite busy our food was delivered faster than expected and was refreshing. Starters we had Thai green coconut mussels, Mozzarella Garlic pizza bread, Buffalo chicken wings and for our mains we had Surf n Turf x 2, Steak eggs chips and Pork spare ribs along with ‘Tipsy Maiden’ cocktail and std drinks. We enjoyed every piece of our meals. The servings were big so much that we couldn’t even think of squeezing in any dessert even though we wanted to ... however one chocolate mousse was snuck through for the birthday girl apparently the 7th birthday celebrated there yesterday. Definitely a new fav local spot for us!

Friendly staff and beautiful decor. Squid was enjoyable, prawn dumplings didn’t taste quiet right, rather dry and sticky on the outside. Garlic pizza lacked flavour. Coffee was nice. Overall a good experience. Would<br/ like to try new menu items next time! Thanks team

Have been here a few times. I love their chicken pasta but depend who the cook is lol sometimes it’s a bit more saucy sometimes it’s drier. But we were disappointed with their chicken burger it was pretty average and overpriced. I had the chicken burger at onehunga good home it was absolutely delicious so expected the same here. Good customer service and will come back

Wow. Starting with food I got the lamb shank which was amazing and very big in portion size. My friend got the burger which came with a knife stuck in it. Loved it! We went on Christmas eve and we were surprised with christmas crackers which just made the experience more enjoyable. The staff were very friendly, filling up our water and asking about the food. Loved the experience and would absolutely return!
