Terry's Office Tavern - Tacoma

We have loved Terrys for 25 years and usually order their burgers, but all their foods are good. We have recently noticed a slow deterioration of their food and both the burgers and the Pommes were terrible today. The burger was so overcooked, it was dry and her frits had to be boiled in old oil as they were superbrown, but soggy. Service by Jack was slow, although only 22 customers in the tavern. We think about exploring other taverns for the first time because of the changes here.

Okay, I admit that my rating is a little different. I have a 19-month, a 12-week puppy, a dog cat and a woman. So I'm not coming for a pint at a local bar anymore. But they have really good dinner specials. I'm not one for fried gizzards, but the fried seafood board for $17 dollars feeds two or a hungry teenager. Cod, mussel strips prawns and the choice of sides and get a bowl of mussel chowder for $5 more. I also had good burgers and who doesn't like chicken and Jo's. Besides, I order pickup and let me wait for a pint as I wait for my order, so a victory for this dad. So local history and a good business with a budget

First visit to Terry's office and will go again. The place was full of locals and we shared a table. The place was full on a Wednesday Sirloin night special $17. But we shared the house Chicken and Jojo 's special... four pieces roasted chicken with four big Jojo 's and sour cream sauce. Served cake hot. Wait a minute! Everything is super hot! And delicious. Much for two to share. We also had local IPA and Wodka and Tonic. It's delicious. David is friendly and welcoming and he worked alone tonight. Lives all night, but held a positive and friendly demeanor. Very recommended.

It was the worst we ask for menu Shannon actually threw the menus on the table. She was so rude. We finally talk with the other guy. Not much better. It was so uncomfortable how she treated us. Could smile, acted so put off to even be there. This was are go to spot, not anymore.
