Bidrage med feedbackI usually go to the flower shop in Ekenäs, but I had never before visited the café. Today, I finally decided to stop by and I am completely smitten. This quaint, rustic café by the lake is a hidden gem that you should not miss! All the bread and cakes are homemade and taste amazing (and I consider myself a good baker). The prices are very reasonable too. However, the highlight for me was the owner. They are a wonderful, genuine person who has kept the old flour mill running. You can even purchase grains and flour from the mill, which are organic, local, and freshly ground using machinery from the 1930s (and very affordable). The café also has a few beehives and sells their own honey. I can't believe I didn't visit sooner!
I highly recommend this charming restaurant! Situated next to a small river, it has a magical garden and rooms with a beautiful blend of antique furniture. The fika is fantastic, and they offer a variety of organic food from local farmers for sale. The vintage decor adds to the cozy atmosphere. They also host concerts on certain evenings, which are definitely worth attending. Just remember to bring cash, as they do not accept card or mobile payments.
Love love love this cafe! The location is stunning, home made cakes delicious and staff exquisite. Have eaten here numerous times and made to feel equally welcome and enjoyed the food every time. Highest of recommendations!
The restaurant is located in a charming old mill next to a stream. The freshly baked fika items were tasty and surprisingly affordable. The staff were extremely friendly.
I 'm a big fan of fika . To be able to sit down with a cup of coffee with different kinds of cookies, perhaps a cinnamon bun, is fantastic. Listen to the little pouring creek. Take your time at Ekenäs kvarn(mill). The staff is delightful and the brödportion is something that you just have to buy. Be sure to check the open times before you go there.
