Tobiko Sushi - Surrey

Ordered here for the first time! They have reasonable prices and extensive menu items! Seems very popular for take out too! Feedback for the the takeout menu (which you can place online yourself): include descriptions of the sushi items. They do on their in house menu but not their togo so figuring out what is in what is a mystery! I ordered the Spicy tofu udon (huge chunks of tofu, flavourful broth, and lots of noods), veg tempura (super affordable and excellent batter to veg ratio, (and Gomae (the sauce is really watery and not the best I've had).Food was good and I can't wait to try their sushi rolls!

I ordered the Chirashi and it was amazing! There was plenty of fish, a good variety, and the preparation and presentation were excellent. It was very thoughtful and purposeful, and tasted delicious. I was very impressed! This restaurant has been around for a long time and I feel like it's only getting better. The party trays have always been excellent. They season their rice well and it always has the perfect moisture content.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and when I brought it home, it was not correct. I called them to let them know and was put on hold for 45 minutes. My husband went to the restaurant in person and told them that their phone was off the hook. They didn't seem to care, saying they were too busy. There was no acknowledgment of the error and when they handed over the food, it was not even in a bag.

A lively restaurant hidden on the side of Fraser highway, this restaurant has stellar selections on their menu including udon combos, Bento boxes, as well as traditional sushi and fusion sushi. The sushi section of the kitchen is in the front and visible to the dining room as the restaurant is smaller in size, and you can watch the chef's at work preparing your meals. The staff are energetic, polite, and deliver your food much quicker than you can anticipate. It can get quite busy during dinner service but the staff are willing to accommodate your needs if requested.
