Village Inn - Surprise

Had a wonderful cheerful woman. You could tell she loves her job. Food was great hot and in a timely manner.

Stopped here for Breakfast this morning. We were greeted and seated right away. Waitress also came immediately to ask what we wanted to drink. Drinks were served and order taken. So far so good, then it went downhill. Waited almost 45 minutes to get our food, and it was COLD. (Wonder how long it sat under the heat lamp. We both had the French Toast with eggs and bacon/sausage. When butter doesn't melt on French toast, you know it's no longer hot. Food tasted good even though it was cold. Then waited forever again for waitress to take our payment. Got two different totals from receipt left on table and what was actually charged. Geesh, so disappointed as I've always liked Village Inn. Don't know if we'll ever be back!

I never give a bad review but we were very very disappointed. We purchased multiple pies for an event (which we have done many times in the past with satisfaction). These pies tasted horrible and old, very disappointing and embarrassing. We sent an email through their website and never even received any correspondence back from them.

We been order food here for a long time but past 5 days now I been dealing with Food Posion from there Famous Carrot Cake it was great but my stomach said no. Please becareful my stomach is still hurting they don't need clean very well here.

I usually go to the Apache Junction location. The quality all around was not as good at this location.
