Bidrage med feedbackThis place is still a good place to eat, but for the price, you can find other better places to eat. I remember when you had to wait at least an hour to eat here and you didn't know what they were serving, but you knew it would be great. Now it feels like the menu is the same almost every day.
After looking at the reviews I was a bit nervous. The buffet was fine! I understand that people, like myself, can get picky with freshness. I can't say I ate any seafood, but the crab looked fresh. The freshness didn't seem to be what to worry about. Some food was over cooked. Still tasty, but really...? Over all, not bad. Use your best judgement, and eat there as close to opening for freshness. Eh, I don't know.
Poor practice on behalf of staff; uncomfortable social environment made for customers. Our party had dinner here at Longhouse Buffet during our stay at the Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort and left with an unfortunate dining experience. Upon entering our party noticed one of the staff members Sean seemed to be lingering around our group. Maybe our relaxed clothing caught him off guard, but after a day on the water, we just wanted to eat. Second Red Flag: two members of my party returned to the table saying they overheard one of the food handlers being scolded for cutting too large of pieces for the prime rib portion of the buffet. Immediately left our table uneasy, these things should be handled in private amongst employees, not within earshot of customers. Third Red Flag: there was an asian elderly woman whom I believe may have been putting sesame balls into a napkin with the intent to take it along with her. All of a sudden my party is disrupted by Sandra embarrassingly berating the elderly woman, speaking condescendingly as if the woman being asian meant she was stupid. We all understand, buffet food should stay in the restaurant, but again, maybe this should be handled in private because Sandra surely made all the surrounding tables uncomfortable after making a spectacle. To add insult to injury, Sandra had a good chuckle with a female waitress at the expense of the elderly woman. Then, consulted with Sean once again, making their presence known, standing in the middle of the dining area having a discussion within earshot of customers. Our party left in disgust of their professional standards. We will continue to spread the word of our experience here at Longhouse Buffet and Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort and will never return to this establishment.
It's okay. It has different sections set up four different types of food such as tacos, fish stations, prime rib station, ice cream station and dessert station, so that's nice. The people that work there are wonderful and helpful. I wouldn't pay full price for the buffet but they do have two for one night, and like I said it's okay. They have some good foods but, there's often a wait. The smoke from the casino makes you want to vomit. Sorry but it's true.
Stopped by for lunch on Wednesday (Feb 28, 2018), and was shocked to see a sign saying: Buffet Closed for Lunch Wednesdays Thursdays . I asked a casino employee about the change, and they said it took place in early January. Management is so oblivious, that they still allow Yelp to show they serve lunch 7 days a week; Wrong! The food at both the Buffet and the Steak House have been declining for the past year. Now it looks like the final Death Spiral is well underway!
