Chutney Blu - Stockport

I am surprised by the negative reviews on this platform and can only assume they are from competing takeout restaurants. My family has been ordering takeout from this restaurant for years and the food has always been hot and delicious. The Indian cuisine is of high quality. Sometimes the food may take a bit longer than the advised 45 minutes, but I believe this is because they are busy - a good sign in my opinion. It is always worth the wait. Additionally, we have ordered party food from them in the past, such as large pots of curry and naan, which have always been a hit and great value for money per person. The delivery drivers are friendly. I have tried other options in the area, but this restaurant is the best in my opinion.

I ordered delivery from this restaurant for the first time last week. I enjoyed it, so I decided to order again tonight. However, the poppadoms were overcooked (brown) and the chicken in the main dishes was very dry, despite the sauce being tasty. I'm not sure if I would give them another chance. Overall, I was disappointed with the food.

The ordering system at this restaurant was simple and payment was easy. The food was delivered on time. The Tikka starter was delicious, but the lamb chops were very tough and ended up in the bin. The chicken in the main dish was also tough and rubbery, although the sauce was amazing. I was very disappointed and will not be ordering from here again.

Ordered a delivery takeaway from this place. when the delivery arrived items were missing. We rang up to advise them and they stated they would return with the missing items. 40 mins later and still no sign of the missing items we rang again. We were then told they were busy and as a result they would not be returning with the items, mistakes happen but it is how you handle them. I would suggest that you calculate your bill before they arrive with the food because on more than one occasion they have overchtarged us, customers beware. We will now vote with our feet.

Was not nice at all onion bhaji like bricks. Curry was extremely salty and lacked flavor had also split and had burnt bits in where it looked they scraped from bottom of the pan. Onion rice was not like what I've ever had plus had added black hard brnnt onions in. Poppadoms rubbery. They said would be 30 mins but was an hour.
