Steamboat Whiskey Company

I went to SWC while on vacation with my wife. While she enjoyed a clever cocktail, I did a flight of their spirits and we both enjoyed some of their small plates. The food was stellar and it was some of the more distinctive whiskeys I've ever enjoyed. I wanted to buy a few bottles to bring home, but my ski gear was thrown around mercilessly on the way there and I didn't think the bottles would have survived the trip home. Each of the dishes I ate was my favorite (cilantro-something deviled eggs, schnitzel bites, chicken-and-waffle on a stick). The drinks are spectacular and the smokey old fashioned is a show, too! Fun and attentive waitstaff. An overall incredibly enjoyable vibe.

Amazing whiskey especially the smoked walnut old fashioned. Happy hour is great! Bartender went out of his way to explain how they distill and offered some tastes as well. Highly recommend the Ol Red!

We made it in for a pre dinner beverage and I have to say my smoked old fashioned was amazing. I ended up breaking one of my 25+ year drinking rules no shots but I was so curious to try the peanut butter bourbon I couldn?t help myself when the Brit next to me begged us to join him on a shot ski. It was yummy I was glad I wasn?t driving.

All the drinks we had were very good. I had the Sweet Whiskey flight, and my friend had a Whiskey Mule and all 5 drinks were tasty. The Fries were amazing though, I would go back just for the fries.
