Mcalister's Deli - St Louis

I frequently order from McAlisters and it's always my grandparents' favorite part of our visits. I've placed an order through Doordash half a dozen times and only one had a mistake, which was quickly corrected. The service in person is great and delivery is always fast. It's my favorite place to treat my family, as we are always pleased with our food.

The kids meal sandwich was way undertoasted and soggy and the cookie and broccoli that were ordered as part of that meal were missing completely. otherwise, the food was great.

The sandwich was made incorrectly with no avocados, instead containing bell peppers and lots of onions. The cheese was unevenly piled in one spot, resulting in only a few bites with cheese. Unfortunately, I couldn't return it because I became sick. However, the tea was delicious as always.

Veggie sandwich had two pieces of baby spinach, a small piece of onion, three pieces of black olive and mayo. Family joked it was a bread sandwich. Husband said the French Dip was good, as was the potato salad.

Whenever I order McCallisters through Doordash, I am always disappointed. I never receive straws, even though the cups are large enough to require them. I also did not receive au jus with my spud, even though it is listed as an ingredient. Additionally, I only received a small amount of chicken salad, which seemed like a joke. It seems like they cut corners with Doordash orders since it is carry out, which is frustrating. Overall, McCallisters is a great place to dine in, but I would not recommend ordering through Doordash. It is best to go in person to ensure you receive what you ordered.
