Olive Garden Italian - St. Joseph

I had a delicious meal here. The creamy chicken gnocchi soup is so damn good. The service from the guy I had was awesome. Dude checked on me a lot. Best Olive Garden I’ve ever been to. Nice job.

We came in on a Saturday and sat with Trey. The restaurant was slammed busy but Trey, along with the manager Alexis, kept our cups filled and made sure we received refills on our soup and breadsticks right when we needed them. Perfect service. The food was great but the service is what will keep us coming back. 10/10

We went in early evening, next to no one was there eating, so we sat down immediately, food from time from order to our table was less 15 mins. Not bad! We have eaten at this location many many times and it has always for the most part been delicious, however this time didn't feel right are waitress was a nice girl however she wasn't very attentive to our table, it seemed that because they were slow the staff decided to congregate by the entrance of the Kitchen. When the food arrived at our table at first glance it looked very good, but it did not seem like it was fresh. It seemed very obvious that it was a reheat from earlier in the evening or the days priors lasagna and the chicken Parmigiano seemed very dry, as if it had also been reheated and became over cooked. Like I said I have always been impressed with this location in St. Joseph Missouri. I feel that they were having an overall bad day. It wasn't the worst experience and I will still recommend to my friends and look forward to giving them another shot.

We got OG-to-go it was very good. I love the add an entree option . They do a great job with packing your take home order. The food cools down a bit on the way home. Prices are a little costly for Italian food. But overall we love it.

Food, Good. Waiter (Ryan) was superb. Rest of staff, meh. Hostess acted like she could care less about being there. Or us really. 4 stars just on food and Ryan alone. Unsupervised teens caused the table between us and them to leave. They even bothered my kids. Host/hostess normally used to go around tables and ask how the experience is. Obviously, her lack of interest in us even being there, will tell you she never showed up. Thus, the experience never got better. Were not given our normal farewell either except by wait staff, even when prompted by myself in telling them good evening. Ate from 420pm to 530pm Jan 2, 2019... St Joseph Mo, North Belt. Ryan worked his tail off, deserves more praise.
