Bidrage med feedbackSummer tasting menu was wonderful. Each flavor was well presented, built well, and the tenbrink strawberry finish was fantastic. Front and back of house were perfectly balanced.
Press is a far cry from other notable restaurants in the area and incredibly disappointing. The minute portions and extreme price tag of $1400 for two, left us hungry and speechless. The name Press should be changed to Price. The overly prepared and doctored cuisine was more worthy of an art fair than a fine dining restaurant experience. Even the top Michelin restaurants in Paris or London of similar pricing offer a more satisfying meal. All of our party of 6 were incredibly disappointed and will not be returning. We had been forewarned about how poor it was, but we thought we’d give it a try. Big mistake! Huge
The food was creative and delicious. Best service I’ve ever had. A great casual elegant vibe.
We’ve visited Press a number of years ago prior to it receiving a Michelin star. The menu during our visit had a great variety and everything we ate was really well executed. However my only thought was that the supplements should be included as part of the overall cost, otherwise the final meal seemed too basic. We had to pay more to elevate the experience. Nonetheless I can appreciate giving a choice to diners to spend more if they wanted. The extra $75 pretzel w/ caviar butter was a highlight.
Left hungry and uninspired. A restaurant past its prime. The vibe was super weird (empty and stuck up), the portions were very small, and the flavors weren’t “out of this world” which is what you expect for a place that has a star. The baseline of the food is still good but given the price it’s not something I would come back to. The value for the food is just not there and I’ve been to many much better 1 Star Michelin places. For those reasons and more it’s a one and done or a never done.
