Let me start- I ordered take out from Wok n Fire St Charles, like we always do, and it was a very busy day so when we finally got our order we were told it was fine and didn’t have to pay the bill. We thought nothing of it since we always go and know a lot of the workers we thought since it took long they took care of it. A couple weeks later we get a text from a worker (who I later found out was the owner). Turns out the costumer after us got charged twice for our order and theirs. Our mistake? No. What’s concerning is how someone goes out of their way to text and CALL multiple times saying very unprofessional stuff. Again, not our mistake and we had no problem paying the bill BUT we were told it was fine. The owner literally texted us saying if “we’re too broke to pay just say that,” since the person who got charged twice disputed the charge. After explaining to the owner, via text, that that wasn’t our card and what we were told, he continued to say very unprofessional stuff via text. We ended up just going in and paying, we really didn’t have to since it wasn’t our mistake, but the fact that the own owner kept texting us even after it was their own mistake not ours was what was concerning to me. As a regular costumer, it was very disappointing to know this is their customer service.
Food, sake, the owners and bartender Carlos were honestly great. Made a quick stop on the way to get groceries and ended up being a great decision. Thank you! A recommend !
