Fionn Maccool's - St. Andrew's Parish

Probably one of the best fish and chips I’ve had; crispy batter, not greasy, very good coleslaw. Portions were large, decent prices, I was very impressed.

I love this place. The food is excellent, they have a wide variety of options (including vegetarian, kid friendly and gluten-free) on the menu, it's family oriented without being hokey, the staff are awesome, the Guinness is poured perfectly, the whiskey selection is phenomenal, the washrooms are pristine (they even have a change table in the men's room), there's live music and it's just a big welcoming room. If you're in a super hurry then get fast food, but if you want a perfect place for a pint after work, a place to take your family or go on a date then this is it.

Sat right beside the bar. Bartender served us, beer came out quick. My friend and I ordered fish and chips and ordered fried dill pickles to start. Fried dill pickles were probably the best I have had. Service was very quick. Nice location.

Early lunch with a girl friend and her new baby. We were welcomed as they welcome kids till 7pm (I believe). We got a new server. She was kind and willing to assist anyway she could. Very prompt with drinks, extra salsa, etc... Meals came fast and hot to the touch. Nachos my gf mentioned were layered with fixings and tasty. My bowl was the perfect amount of food and was fresh/hot to the touch. Very flavorful. I will return for all the above reasons. Next time I'm getting the Mini Yorkies lol

Our group went to Finn MacCools for lunch and were pleasantly surprised with the great selection on the menu. The staff were super friendly and service was quick. If you are in the west end of the city and looking for a great Irish restaurant, check this place out.
