I love ordering from here cakes are all a personal favourite to order but everything else is also exceptional when ordering.

Chocolate lava cake is worth $7, not $20. JOEYS used to have a molten lava cake for like $10 (I was expected something better given the cost is double, bare minimum of at least similar quality) but this cake tasted was very "cheaply" made (the store bought ones you heat up are better) and not worth the cost at all. Will not be buying this cake again. Disappointing, since Ive previously tried other stuff from here (tiramisu cheesecake) that was fine.

Food tastes good... but the prices are astronomically high. Your little slice of cake is not worth 20$... almost 40$ for waffles and a few toppings? Not sure whats higher, your prices or your customers.

The Pina Colada Milkshake was ridiculously good. 10/10

The carrot cake was good, but not worth the price IMO. I find this place to be expensive compared to other restaurants and the desserts dont really stand out in taste or portion size. Most restaurants sell slices of cake similar in size for about $10-15. $20 for an average tasting cake doesnt really make sense. Ironically their burgers and sandwiches seem like theyre better value for price. I usually only order from D Spot whenever theres a promo code, otherwise its just too expensive for me. Maybe the dine-in prices are a bit better?
