Miller Carter Wheathampstead

I visited this restaurant for my birthday celebration on 04/05/19. Whilst the service was good the time we waited for our meal wasn't. We arrived at 6.30pm and it took almost 1 hour for each course to arrive, we were informed that there had been an (incident) in the kitchen which had caused the delay, however as we had our young son dining with us it meant we did not leave the restaurant until after 9.30pm which was very late for him. I would be reluctant to visit again for this reason.

The seating was comfortable and quiet, making it easy to chat with our friends. The food quality was decent, with the chicken being a bit dry but the salmon and steaks were both delicious. We opted for the two course special deal which was a good deal. Kelly, our server, enhanced our evening with her efficiency and friendliness.

Our family had a wonderful dinner at The Bull. The atmosphere in the restaurant was ideal, and our server, Belinda, was friendly and efficient. She quickly addressed an issue with one of our steaks and handled it professionally. We were impressed with the cocktails, meals, and wine. We will definitely be returning, thanks to the excellent customer service, especially from Belinda.

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant for my birthday and it was fantastic. We had previously dined at the Miller and Carter in Edinburgh, and I must say the atmosphere there was better than the one in Wheathampstead, but that's to be expected in a city. Our waitress, Gill, was very friendly and welcoming. We both ordered the 30-day aged Sirloin 8oz and it was delicious. We had a great experience and will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Fabulous meal with even better service from Gill. Always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Perfect steak too.
