Bidrage med feedbackThe servers are delightful, just understaffed. The food and the view are amazing. Management is questionable. Seated next to a tyour group that were served lovely side salads. Asked 2 servers and told that it is absolutely not possible to order. There is no button for it. It is only available a a pre-order for the type group. Really? I know there is extra lettuce in the kitchen!!. What kind of management does not empower the server to manage to get a customer a little side salad. Especially when the total bill is over $50 per person. And now the manager even.... she will keep pitching to the owners, but can't figure out how to make it happen. What times are we living in that someone can't meet this minimal request for a side salad, A SIDE SALAD . Many apologies if this comes across as entitled. Just doesn't seem like too much to ask when spending over $50 on other food and cocktails! I will enjoy the view and other food now....
I'll start with the only good thing about this restaurant: the atmosphere. It has wonderful, large windows and a great patio with pristine views of Zion. Unfortunately, here we go: Service: walk in with a reservation, see over half the tables empty. Still wait 20 mins to be seated. Many unhappy guests had been waiting longer. When we were seated, we thought it was but a small hiccup, possibly understaffed for the night, but it took another 15 mins to get water. We had enough time to order a bottle of wine, an appetizer and our meals at the same time. All 3 came at the exact same time, after the first two bottles we ordered took 5 mins each to tell us they didn't have them. Food: -calamari: soggy and served on a mound of fried zucchini. -vodka rigatoni: do you like your sauce with half cloves of raw garlic? This is for you. -lasagna: first bite was great, once you eat the corners, you hit the refreshingly cold center. Overall, I'd say this place preys on tourists hoping for a nice meal. Don't fall for it. Grab some tacos next door.
Beautiful building inside and outside. We enjoyed our waitress. She provided us all the information we needed about the menu choices. How large the portions are, what is included, etc. I had the Ceasar salad. It was good enough. My husband had the butternut squash soup. It was the best squash soup I have tasted. I had the mushroom pizza. It was very tasty. It was large. I ate two pieces. Saved the rest for later in the week. The pizza was still good several days later. My husband had the chicken Alfredo meatballs. He didn't like the sauce but said the meatballs were decent. I had a scoop of mint chocolate chip gelato. It was expensive but good. My husband had the lemon gelato. He liked it. I didn't like it as much as much as my own. The meal was very expensive. We would go back because it was so enjoyable. It was very nice to go to after a day of hiking in the hot sun. It is an upscale restaurant. They did not mind that we were sandy and sweaty in our hiking clothes. There was not a dress code. It was the only place we found parking. It was a busy Saturday night. Parking: The reason we went there. It was the only place we found parking spaces.
It's a beautiful place the service was slow due to the large amount of people. The food was uneven some of the dishes were very, very good others merely average. I would rate it as an average place on account of that. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
We went here because the restaurant we wanted to go to had a line. So we walked across the street and tried to get into a steakhouse restaurant, but they were no longer taking walk ins. The hostess suggested this Italian Restaurant next store. We walked over and we ended up eating at the bar. We had a long hike in Zion so we ordered a lot of food. Everything was delicious. We got chicken parm, spaghetti, assorted vegs, bruschetta app, meatball app, salmon entree AND then we order the tiramisu and a Gelato split. Gonna say all of it was outstanding. Parking: We went when when Zion was full so we had to park in town and we paid $25 for the day, which is the way here in this town.
