Bidrage med feedbackI have yet to have a bad (or small) meal here. Grecian Family Restaurant offers a large menu with plenty of selections and options along with an optional all you can eat salad bar. While the salad bar is small in comparison to other places, it has just the right amount of toppings and other pasta salad options to really add to your meal. This last visit I had the Gyro Entree with rice, my son had the cheeseburger, my daughter had the small kid 's pizza, and my wife had the grouper. Everything was delicious. The pizza was clearly hand made, cooked to perfection. While my son 's burger was a little well done, he had no complaints and ate it all. My gyro was tender and full of flavor, but the rice wasn 't the best, but it also wasn 't the worst. Next time I 'd suggest upgrading to the feta fries as they are tantalizing. My wife 's grouper was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our server, Olivia, was attentive, friendly, and professional. She checked on us throughout our visit and kept us informed about our order. While the prices may seem a tad high, the amount of food you get is worth the price. Rarely do we leave without a to go box. They also have a bakery on the other side of the restaurant. While we didn 't get anything this time, previously we have left with tasty bakery treats that do not disappoint. All in all, Grecian Family Restaurant is the perfect place for a delicious, big meal where there is something for everyone. The friendliness and care of the staff continues to keep us coming back. I highly recommend checking them out.
Best pizza and salad bar in town Still best pizza and salad bar in town I'm telling ya, it's the best!
Great food. Had the Spicy Gyro Pita and salad bar. It was pretty tasty. Salad bar is a little on the small side, but had a good selection of different salads, dressings and toppings to choose from. Friends that were with me had a buffalo chicken pizza, and chicken Parmesan. They looked delicious. Service was good except it was just one lady that was running almost the whole restaurant floor by herself seemingly, and she kept asking people in the back 'where is Alex? '. So I 'm guessing there was supposed to be another person assisting with customers. So, service, and checkout were a bit slow. Kudos to her, though, for keeping things running as smooth as she could. I 'd eat here again for sure next time I 'm in Tennessee.
Regarding their delivery of free Thanksgiving meals: What a blessing you guys are. I live alone and celebrate holidays alone. I am disabled, and am epileptic, so can't drive. I had sent Frank a message making a strange request. Because of my many illnesses, I must eat a very restricted diet. I am cooking a Thanksgiving meal for myself, but couldn't afford a turkey, and didn't want it to go to waste since it's just me. I asked if I could simply have some turkey delivered, nothing else, no sides, bread, or dessert. Just a few minutes ago, a kind volunteer showed up at my door bearing a container of still-warm turkey. It brought tears to my eyes. Thanks Frank, and Grecian Family Restaurant and Bakery for making this a real Thanksgiving for me.
Prices for a standard platter are $10 higher than most Greek places within 2 hours. Food was over cooked and extra greasy. Hummus dip had a good flavor, but again was very greasy. Spanakopita was very good. I eat Greek food almost every week, and I was not impressed here.
