Skip’s Place - Spencer

We found Skip's during our weekend trip to Fall Creek Falls. It's a very simple, straight forward place. My husband ordered breakfast and I ordered a burger with onion rings because really, who can resist battered onion rings?! No one, that's who! Everything was cooked perfect and was fresh as can be. It was a pleasant surprise from a small place. Our only complaint, they said open daily, but when we returned Sunday they weren't open. We'll definitely return when we're up that way next!

Good at what it does. Waitress was eloquent and fast.

Appearances of the place are average. It is small amd near a liquor store. Paper and plastic wear. The catfish is delicious! It's not greasy and the batter is light. The hushpuppies were also good. You could have your choice of skinny or crinkly fries. My husband liked the coleslaw but I thought it was average it isn't sweet. The workers are the sweetest people! Prices are reasonable. You can call in orders and there is a drive through window.

This place was an awesome hole-in-the-wall place to eat. The food was good and super cheap. The staff was very friendly and attentive.If you are in the area, I recommend stopping in for a quick bite!
