Hohe Buche - Speicher

The high beech is a mountain peak between trogen and bühler, a popular destination for a short walk or bike tour, but also accessible by car. the restaurant has a limited menu with hot and cold local decor, but well prepared. Do not miss the catchy in winter, it is still quite mild, but in summer the sugar has fermented and it is quite strong. from the high beech they have a spectacular view over the lake to Germany in the north, the alpine stone from high box to säntis in the south and over the winding hills of eastern Switzerland to the west. in the east you can admire the peaks of the Vorarlberg Mountains in Austria. a clear day, a rewarding goal.

Eating was okay, but not wonderful. there were some regular dishes, but nothing special or worth visiting. I was very disappointed that there was no possibility to change the dizzles of our daughter. they said we could get it on the floor if we wanted. I didn't expect anything funny, an Ikea table with a thin matratze would do it. they had only a high chair for small children and there were three babies at the same time.

After a short ascent of store you get this wonderful view of the säntis area. kitchen is good and comfortable.
