Falcone Italian Pizzeria - Southport

Amazing stromboli and pasta dishes!! The mozzarella sticks are home made and huge. Very tasty!! Looking forward to trying the cannoli!!! The staff are always prompt and courteous.

5 stars just for the HUSTLE! Food was really good of course. Our server was very friendly and the owner always is. We like it here. Edit: 23DEC2021, this is the best lasagna I've ever had. I hope I don't hurt my gamgam's feelings when I tell her.

Very large portions, reasonable prices good food. A desire for pizza drove us to Falcone's. We were surprised by the extremely large variety of food on the menu. For example, the special was rack of lamb. The menu offered chicken virtually any style that you might have seen on any Italian menu. We stuck to the plan to get pizza, but added lightly fried calamari as an appetizer. Fried calamari was very good, reminded us of the way it was served in Seattle very light coating. We were also served bread which was nice, but would have been better hot. The meat lovers pizza was very good. After eating a total of 3 slices, we were full. More than half taken home. We will certainly order the pizza and calamari again, though next time we might share a version of chicken. The woman at the table next to us had shrimp scallops? over pasta. It was served in a bowl you might expect to see at restaurants serving family style enough for 2+ to eat their fill. She actually offered us some and I was tempted, but the Dear Wife said Thanks, but we were full. Our plates had already been cleared and we had no flatware to eat with Restaurant was nicer than a pizza parlor, but not a place we would consider as a romantic setting.

My husband and I and another couple stopped in for dinner. We arrived a little late but were greeted nicely. Had a scrumptious meal. All of us needed to take some of our dinners home. We had Calamari for an appetizer. It was cooked perfectly!!! Best we've had...Even though it was getting close to closing time we were not rushed or made to feel we needed to go. Very friendly and courteous staff. We will be back again!!!!

Amazing food! We had a party of 5 and our waiter Trey handled our group very well along with a couple other tables. A family owned business that treats you like family. I recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back. If you can get Trey as your waiter definitely do so. Thank you Trey for a memorable night with excellent customer service.
