The Indian Chefs - Southend-on-Sea

The first time here with the guys to say sure we have eaten in our time in many curry houses and we are constantly at the bad choice in and around Southend, but finally we have found somewhere that will certainly be our regular hunting. Not your ordinary Anglo-Indian nonsense, that was delicious North Indian Punjabi cuisine. So much taste without unnecessary spicy, only aromatic. The waiting staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, the chefs over the open kitchen door, where everything is fresh and very cheaply cooked. Really a great discovery.

The vegetarian food here is absolutely delicious. We went on a Sunday and had the bottomless thali, everything was perfect, not at all greasy and very authentic. Plus, the service was excellent. Highly, highly recommended.

Wow! What an amazing experience if I could give 6 stars I would. Me and my partner came here for a special birthday meal and we were so blown away the food was out of this world, some of the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten and the service was amazing the generosity and kindness of every member of staff made us feel extremely welcomed and relaxed. Especially recommend the Samosa Chaat as a starter it will blow you away : And just to make it an even more special experience, they brought out a cake and sang happy birthday to me at the end of our meal above and beyond!!! #bestindianinsouthend

Delicious! Went here for a work dinner and had a great time. Indian Chefs is a family run establishment and you really feel welcomed and looked after when you eat there. Variety of food options which are freshly made and taste delicious. With a good variety of spice levels to cater for all. I don’t always enjoy Indian food because it can be heavy in oil, but this restaurant was not the case at all! Will definitely be eating in or ordering a takeaway from here sometime soon, thank you for having us!
