Great Island Bakery should be famous! All from scratch, always delicious. Equipped with care so performance is limited visit early and often. Simply the BEST place on the Cape for baked goods such as Danishes, Scones, Muffins, cinnamon rolls and elephant ears.

First, the baked pastries are fabulous: round Danish with blueberries, apple tar, chocolate croissant, everything. Then bring the freshly frozen CLAM PIE home and bake it in your oven. It's amazing!!

This bakery makes a really good key lime cake. But one day they can do it on a day and the next day they told me they needed two days. It was Co-Workers' birthday today and we called last week to have it ready for today, so they had a lot of time. When we showed up this morning, they didn't do it and seemed to care. It was on schedule before them. Just not a big deal to her when it was for a birthday party and we ordered it a week ago. Very disappointed.-UPDATE: The bakery apologized for the mistake and gave us a free cake and it was delicious.
