The Mill on the River - South Windsor

Beautiful location right on the river! Had the prime rib for the special and it was cooked perfect. Prices are reasonable for the caliber of the restaurant.

This is by far my favorite special occasion restaurant in the Windsor locks area. We celebrated our Grammy 80th birthday here and more recently my husband's birthday. The food is always impeccable, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! I honestly love coming when we're in town. The view and the ambiance is very picturesque! The oysters were SO FRESH, like honestly straight outta the ocean fresh and the pasta dishes were extra dreamy! On last note the servers will go out of their way to make your night special like even killing a giant horsefly on our table special lol. Can't wait to come back to celebrate another special milestone here.
