Bidrage med feedbackI purchased the 6 course degustation for 2 deal online for my hubby's birthday as we loved our previous visit. Again the food was sensational, flavoursome, creative & attractive. We were told to be prompt & allow 2 hours to consume our lunch. It took a little longer (2.5 hrs), with the completion or should I say devouring of each course, we couldn't wait for the next one to arrive. Timing was perfect. Not too long & not too short. Just right. The spiced long island ice tea was the best cocktail Iv'e ever had. Can't wait to go back with or without a voucher deal. Hubby also agrees :P
We each had 2 courses plus sweats, the entre and main where new and exciting to us and all together produced a perfect dinner for 2. The menu was varied with lots of choices of very interesting food/taste combinations and our waiters where charming and generous in their outlook. But, and a big but, my broulee was not set properly and was more like a pouring custard. We will be back to sample the other dishes in the coming months. We had a great meal and would recommend to anyone. Great place, nice staff, fantastic food.
We like arty farty food, most things different, ingredients, matchings, composure and presentation. Artichoke does all those things well, to entice you to taste and then delight your taste buds.
One of the Gold Coasts best kept secrets. Tucked away on Ephraim Island (just a bridge away from Paradise point). This intimate, sophisticated yet relaxed venue offers a Modern European menu which had our table of 7 oohing and aahing like a choir. Every course of the ‘Trust The Chef’ degustation was tantalizing but what really made this an experience was when the chef (affectionately known as Chef) personally announced and garnished the dishes. A knowledgeable man that clearly understands and loves what he does. This coupled with tentative competent staff and a beautiful ambience ensures that Artichoke Restaurant leaves a positively memorable taste in your mouth and mind. A must visit.
Had an amazing experience yesterday at this hidden gem. Being a cold windy day to dine in one of the open air paradise point strip restaurants it offered a cosy welcoming atmosphere. The only criticism was that it would have been nice to receive a welcoming smile from the owner. The one waitress was delightful helpful and attentive and friendly. A definite asset for the place.Meal we couldn't fault. From the delicious rye bread and dips. The panko artichoke and duck was divine and my ravioli outstanding. Couldn't fit in dessert but will definitely be back to try. All in all a keeper and one i will highly recommend
