Golden China - South Pasadena

I notice these reviews are really old. The last time I went was 4 years ago. The food I ordered was reheated some parts where hot and some parts where cold. I swore I would never go back, today May 15, 2023 I went back hoping the food would be better. My order was for pick up. When I brought it home it was disgusting

So I'm a bit old school. This restaurant is run like back in the 80s and 90s. Our main waiter matre de, was an older gentleman. He was attentive, friendly and comfortable. The meal was timely, Well proportioned and tasty- much like meals from this type of establishment from when I was a kid. In short, I enjoyed myself considerably.

The food was okay, the pork fried rice was disgusting but I enjoyed their beef broccoli and chow mein. I think it was the pork I didn't like. Also this place is over priced.

Food no good, waiters/waitress were very rude and don't ask if you want more to drink, would not recommend to anyone. Definitely will not be going back

DO NOT EAT HERE. There is a new waiter that yells at customers. He speaks down on customers and then gets upset and yells more when you check him on it. He yells at women which is NOT OK. Go to Oak Tree they treat their customers so much better. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR
