Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

Had never been to a Cafe Rio where they forced you to order at a kiosk. If you have dietary restrictions, good luck. No one is readily available to ask questions. The fast food workers are barricaded behind a metal wall type thing and act annoyed if you disturb them. They were supposed to call my name when my order was ready. I did not hear them and they did not bother to try and call my name again so my food was lukewarm when I got it. (Having never been there before, I did not realize there was an electronic screen you were supposed to look at to see your order's progress. If you want a highly impersonal dining experience in a white antiseptic atmosphere (the decor looks like a hospital dining room then this is the place for you. On top of all that, the food gave my husband and I digestive issues for a full day afterwards. We have eaten at other Cafe Rio restaurants and had good experiences.

Very bad location. They forgot to include items in my to go order and when I called back and asked for a refund they offered me a one dollar refund….. It seems like they are better at making jokes than they are at making food.

This location is right by our house. We love Cafe Rio but in the dozen or so times we’ve been to this location they’ve made mistakes just about every single time. Charging us for the wrong item, missing items, etc. terrible, terrible management. We just drive 20 minutes further to Riverdale now if we want Cafe Rio.

Really good food, but this restaurant is digital only, so you can't go in and order in line like other locations.

This location is terrible. Riverdales is always fresh and hot. South Ogden's food is always subpar. I found 3 inedible lettuce cores in my salad, the lettuce was also old. The chicken was so so overcooked. No guac. They forgot our dressings and acted annoyed when I asked for them. The kids quesadilla had hardly any cheese on it. I've given this location so many chances but will drive the extra time to go to Riverdale from now on.
