The owner of this restaurant is exceptional, always willing to go above and beyond. The food and service are top-notch. They also offer a selection of delicious real ales at half price on specific days of the week.

We stumbled upon this pub by chance and were pleasantly surprised. We decided to grab a bite before our walk, but it turned out to be a big mistake, as the portions were huge and absolutely delicious. It appears that the pub is now under new management and their attention to detail is evident. Well done, we would highly recommend it.

My friend, my 6-year-old son, and I dropped by for dinner at this restaurant. We were served by Christine, who was very attentive, helpful, and great with the kids. My son has allergies, but they were well-prepared with an allergen menu and double-checked everything, which was greatly appreciated after some recent mistakes at other restaurants. The facilities were excellent, with a play area to keep my energetic son busy while we waited for our food. We enjoyed the chicken salad, ploughman's, fish and chips, and sides, which were all delicious, but the desserts were the highlight for me. The salted caramel mousse was amazing, my friend had a tasty crumble, and they even had a dairy and soya-free option for my son. We will definitely be coming back.

Really friendly service. We both had roast lamb which came with red cabbage, greens, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, parsnips, carrots and gravy. Was absolutely delicious and decent portion size

What a friendly place. Jay and staff. Carolyn and Lisa couldnt be more nice and helpful and thats before we had the roast.. The only complaint.... There was too much!!
