1769 Bar Restaurant - South Lakeland

The staff at this restaurant were incredibly rude, making us feel unwelcome and lacking in friendliness. We felt judged and the bar staff were terrible. The receptionist didn't even bother to look up from her computer until I approached her. This seems to be a common issue based on other reviews. Ultimately, we decided to take our business elsewhere.

Stayed at the hotel breakfast and Dinner. Lovely stay staff very friendly and helpful. Hardworking, two brothers they very good service in the restaurant and extra thanks to Daniel for finding my umbrella! Hopefully you get a bonus for this review Daniel! The receptionist working Monday night knew I had the face that I needed the toilet! Read my mind and pointed me in the right direction! Lovely area to stay.

We had an amazing dining experience here. We were fortunate to snag a table in the bar since the restaurant was packed. The staff was incredibly friendly and the portions were generous, especially the pizzas, which were absolutely delicious!

Unfriendly unhelpful dismissive staff bad food bad real ale do not visit as you will be disappointed the staff did not care when we advise real ale tasted of vinegar
