Bidrage med feedbackWhatever you get at the Horseshoe will be great. The onion rings are the best I've had.Saw someone get the fried green tomato appetizer which looked great. Fried green tomatoes with a big scoop of homemade pimento cheese on top. Must have been good, the same table ordered a second helping. I've had the bison burger, the fried green tomato blt and the pimento cheeseburger so far. All were excellent. Glad I live over an hour away, I would be bigger than I already am.
My husband works for a gas company in South Hills, and he eats lunch here almost every day. When I visited, he took me to this restaurant, and I was blown away by the food. The staff here are incredibly friendly—some of the nicest people I've ever met! It gives me peace of mind knowing my husband is well taken care of and enjoying delicious meals. I highly recommend the Horseshoe to anyone visiting the area; you won’t be disappointed. I plan to come back after I have the baby, not only to see the wonderful people who work here but also to enjoy their fantastic burgers and the friendly pickles. Even my two toddler boys love this place and talk about it every time we come to visit their dad!
Musicians, take note. If you're considering performing here, be prepared not to get paid. After playing for two hours, we were informed at closing time that we were supposed to bring our own tip jar and would not receive any percentage of the sales. In the end, we only received $100, reimbursement for gas, and a total of 10 hours on the road for just 2 hours of music. What a deal.
Musicians, take note: if you're considering performing here, be prepared to play for free. After our two-hour set, we were informed that we needed to bring our own tip jar and that we wouldn’t receive a cut of the sales. All we got in return was an apology for the over $100 we spent on gas and the 10 hours we collectively drove to provide two hours of music for the venue without any compensation.
Best hamburgers east of the Mississippi.
