The Tradesman's Arms - South Hams

We had a delightful lunch at the Tradesman's Arms today. The new garden seating area with views of the village green and church is fantastic. We both ordered the filet steak from the special menu and it was absolutely delicious. It was one of the best meals we've ever had. The COVID-19 restrictions were clearly explained upon arrival by Kathy, and the short wait for our meal went unnoticed thanks to the lovely surroundings.

Yesterday, my friends and I went for drinks at a restaurant we hadn't visited in years, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The staff was very friendly, and we started off in the garden with a stunning view of the church. When it started to rain, we quickly moved inside and were impressed by the COVID measures in place. The pub had many open windows and doors for fresh air circulation, which made us feel comfortable and safe. We also appreciated that they offered table service, unlike many other places we've been to recently. Another bonus was that the pub was dog-friendly, so we're looking forward to bringing our furry friends next time. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend it to our family.

We ate at the Tradesmen’s on a quite busy Friday evening. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the food was excellent. We both chose from the specials board: I had hangar steak, which was fantastic and my wife had salmon, again, fantastic. The...superb too and quite big, so leave some room!
