Waba Grill - South Gate

This is the first Waba grill that I have been too that says that they are not allowed to sell tofu in the evenings as per their managers instructions when I asked for the managers name and phone number they decided to call someone by the name of Ashley Gomez and she told me that they decide to restrict selling tofu in the evenings because they will be low on product she told me that I can go to another location. So it's not that they are out of tofu it's just that she is worried for tomorrow's stock.

I ordered a curbside at this place and the website NEVER mentioned that this place DOESN'T have that service!! I showed up and confirmed the I'M HERE and wait for a good 10 mins and finally went inside to check in my order and the employee told me that they don't have that service in the particular location My food was super COLD. The website needs to update information on the services they advertised.

My only complaint is seeing the male cook with the glasses at the SoutH Gate location was wearing his face covering below his mouth while cooking the food and walking around the kitchen area talking to other employees. Public Health will be notified if this doesn't get taken care of.

Came in at about 10 am everything was normal till I got home an opened my order… they served me old rice from the day before and I know I wasn’t making assumptions because I returned to the store after driving all the way home had to drive back and the girl says “the other staff doesn’t know how to make rice” keep in mind this is 10am they open at 9:30… soo what other staff??? From last night ?‍ basically said it her self just didn’t want to seem dumb and then proceed to give attitude when I mentioned that it was old … got fresh made rice supposedly but once I got home rice was hard once again… gave up I’m not trying to drive back for another messed up order… NEVER COMING BACK !!! And girl said I had to wait till Wednesday for a refund if I wanted it… SMH ?‍

Amazing service. I had the Salmon and veggie bowl. I was even greeted warmly when I came in. Food was delicious. Made fresh.
