Great family restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is also very good.

A hidden jewel of a fat spoon. Service fast and friendly. ground beef and olive oil empanada was hot and perfectly fluffy. Authentic Cuban sandwich with solid frits. Jambalaya (special) was unusually good for the price. Just a shrimp, but I thought it was just chicken, so * fed bonus* I guess. Overall my favorite spot for breakfast/lunch in the neighborhood.

Very good food, service was excellent, that is a family business. Where it seems that the staff really knows the regulars and it seems to be many of them. The owner who is involved with day-to-day operation only buys the best ingredients.

Honestly such a great place! I live three minutes away and just found this gem a few weeks ago… and have gone multiple times each week! Chelo makes traditional American diner food with a flare (breakfast and lunch, dinner twice a week) and also Latin dishes, so you get the best of both worlds. Restaurant and bathrooms always clean, staff is super friendly, and they know and love their regular customers. Perfect little spot!
