Bidrage med feedbackHaving heard rave reviews about this place, decided to visit with the family. However the burgers were nothing to rave about. Typical assorted burgers, nothing special. A bit pricey though. Can get a better burger at your local takeaway shop.
Great selection of burgers that cater to all tastes. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing prompt service. The portions are generous and the flavors are excellent.
Went here for lunch. I have been told that the burgers here are pretty good so thought I would give it a try. Ordered the Aussie burger, as it had beetroot on it, and every good burger has beetroot. The meat patty was tasty, and the salads were fresh (lettuce, tomato, onion etc). The bun was good, but did break up a little bit when eating. The burger on it's own was reasonably priced (most burgers are $10-$15 dollars nowadays), but once you start adding small chips (fries by any other name), and a drink (1 beer) the price stacks up pretty quick (total price $24.90). All in all the food was good and the setting pleasant (sit near the window for some people watching).
I tried the American bacon and cheese burger, while the boys ordered the cheeseburger and bacon burger. All of our meals were freshly cooked and delicious. We also ordered a side of large chips, which were crispy and hot. For dessert, we had the nuts for chocolate and a thickshake, both of which were very tasty. The only downside was the pricing - $7.50 for a regular-sized cup of thickshake seemed a bit expensive. Overall, great food but slightly overpriced.
An innovative menu item is to be able to Order your burger without the bun. The burger ingredients are placed on 2 iceberg lettuce leaves on a plate, and you get plastic cutlery to eat it with. Good concept. However while the ingredients tasted good, I think the Miel burgers are better. Just saying....
