Bidrage med feedbackI'm giving the bar a 5 star review because the bartender was great. I'm here to confirm that despite a good year of vomit reviews the stench is still ever present. It practically punches you in the face as soon as you walk in. I wanted to believe it was possibly left over from an old fondue restaurant that specialized in goat cheese. Alas, I was mistaken. Despite desperate attempts with the occasional febreze from the tender, we had to move multiple times to escape the vomit smell. We drank until we couldn't smell it anymore. Overall great experience. As a bar owner (insert pretentious accent) I have discovered the culprit after only a couple beers. ITS THE CARPET! Whoever decided to open a full bar and install carpet needs to revisit their 70's mentality of proper bar decor. That carpet holds the secrets of drunk girls past and bearded lift workers terrible left over hot pocket chunks. Quick update: Had dinner at Alpine and its hands down the best food on the mountain. No vomit smell! Everything was amazing.
Service is excellent. Atmosphere is warm and cozy, overall I'm impressed with the food. I got the chicken parm and the love of my life got the lasagna. Both are some of the best I've tasted.
A little pricey, but the food and service were great. The crowds were light and even though we had reservations, we would've been seated immediately had we not.
The bar upstairs-The Line Shack review, went in today for a beer and could not stand the vomit smell. I read a review from 11 months ago about this odor and I just experienced the same thing. Something's wrong here.
Great, friendly staff and good quality food. Thoroughly enjoyed the mussels and fresh bread.
