Michael's Family Diner - Sneedville

Awesome stop while on the motorcycle. Welcoming staff, delicious catfish and fried chicken and numerous scrumptious side dishes. Well worth the stop and priced just right too!!

Ya just never know when this 'family ' restaurant is going to be open. It 's hit or miss. You go there and, surprise, there 's another handwritten note up in the window for yet another reason why it is closed or why they decided to close early. If you are lucky enough to get there on a good day when they are open don 't be surprised if they are out of just about everything around dinner hour. When I posted before I held out a little hope for them since it was during the Covid lock-down, but nothing much has changed. Not a great way to run what could be a successful business and money maker in a town with not a lot to offer in cuisine.

Very disappointed. Worst beef tip dinner. Tough, no flavor, and French fries so under cooked. I know they are friendly people and normally food is good but not tonight. I won't be back

The food is great and the Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Our new favorite breakfast place we plan to visit again and often best French toast ever
