The Cockeyed Rooster - Smithfield

We were here for a soccer tournament and stayed for breakfast based on reviews. It surpassed the reviews. The best breakfast I ever had. Something was waiting, but it was worth it. Incredible dishes, good portions, reasonable prices and a great friendly service. We had French toast, Smithfield ham and Nutella waffles. Everything else looked great.

Great experience from the time we have set ourselves. The waitress Melina was very attentive and our order came out in time. She kept a wonderful smile and engaged my children in conversation about Disney. That melted my heart. That was my family and I came here for the first time and it won't be our last. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. My omelet was a beautiful size and the feta was fresh. If you ask yourself if you come here, don't ask yourself anymore and just do it. You won't regret it. Thanks for the excellent service. Our waitress was the best.

Busty but lovely! They serve breakfast and lunch and their portion sizes are large. Appropriately expensive. Would definitely recommend!

The food was good; I ordered the Belgian waffles. It came with eggs and a meat, I ordered sausage links. The food was very fast and hot. The restaurant is very covered, the majority of the patrons were retired, so everyone knows everyone who adds the homeweh. The menu had a variety of food types (breakfast and lunch) with breakfast food is the dominant fare. It closes at 2:00, so no dinner. Again, this place is full of mature southern, and they know their food. So, great food, great atmosphere, great people. Come get to brunch, you won't be disappointed, and you can walk into your aunt Bea.

This is a fantastic place with a great menu selection. Very clean, friendly staff. Hot, fresh, tasty food. Decor is fun and appealing for the whole family. Our kids really enjoyed their meal and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely return, highly recommend.
