Semplicemente strepitoso!! I piatti sono di prima qualità fatti al momento e l'atmosfera è di casa. Se passate da Ortigia una tappa in questo locale non può mancare!!

Purtroppo l'esperienza in questo ristorante non è stata positiva ... tempi di attesa lunghissimi, male areato fumo dalla cucina, piatti lombardi in Sicilia!!!!, poco assortimento di piatti siciliani, servizio scadente, vino caro e non all'altezza, forse era serata no ma sconsiglio vivamente... il prezzo finale poteva essere della metà...

I must refute the negative reviews about La Vineria. We were a bit apprehensive going there having read these but as a coeliac vegetarian the choice of risottos appealed. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. All the staff were extremely pleasant, nobody shouted and all the food we ordered (shared speck salad as appetiser, mushroom risottos, a shared gluten free almond parfait and 2 excellent coffees) was delicious and served in a reasonable time, allowing 20 minutes as expected for freshly prepared risotto. Either some previous reviewers were exaggerating or very unlucky or the management has taken the criticism on board and made improvements. Either way, this restaurant is well worth a visit. It is pricier than most of its neighbours but offering food that is definitely a cut above them in choice and quality and therefore worth paying the extra. As a bonus we noticed that the local crooners who can be a plague were turned away while the restaurant's own choice of music was suitably relaxing.

Wow. What an authentic Italian experience. We had lots of Aperol and snacks all day so didn’t want any pizza or pasta. We came by this place walking up to piazza duomo and decided it was for us. What a great choice. We sat inside and went with all recommendations. Glad we did. The Sicilian salad of fennel, onion,olives and orange was amazing. The we had the pork filet and potato. It was sensational. A perfect evening. Grazie.
