La Joya Fresh Mexican - SIMSBURY

Such a cute little place! Food is amazing and the staff there are so nice and welcoming! My husband and I aren’t in CT too often but when we are we do make a point to stop in for dinner.

.Food is expensive and tasteless. We have come here many times and the food has definitely gone down hill. We will not be back. They also do not clean the rest

Went for my birthday in June. We had such a great experience. Didn’t call ahead but they were so accommodating. We sat outside because we had our dog with us and they took great care of him. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The guacamole and chips were super fresh. We started with guacamole, I got the endless summer margarita and the veggie bowl and they added wild mushrooms for me. We got churros for dessert. All delicious.

I really think the restaurant is a Treasure. The food is outstanding, service is fast and on the top, staff is wonderful and timely. Front of the restaurant and from what I can see, the back kitchen is very clean and well kept- Amazing!. Quality ingredients and great menu mix for the concept. Waiting for the next step for expansion with everything. Amazing owners that are investing their hard work to bringing food and experience to the area. LOVE IT!!!!

I have never left a review for anything, but I felt as though it 'd be a diservice to our server and La Joya to not leave one. Hands down the best tacos I have ever had, and one of the most wonderful servers I 've ever talked to. At just $5 for each taco (which is an absolute steal for how delicious it is), its a great option for any night out. When I say everything is fresh, I literally mean EVERYTHING. La Joya had a calamari to die for and the fruit was never really tangy and ruined the taste of the meat, it all complimented each other perfectly because it 's ALL fresh. I would write more about this place but my phone is about die.
