Betelnut Resort - Shrivardhan

A. Location (4/5): This place is ~1.5 kms from Diveagar beach. There's a walking trail right next to it and it takes some 15-20 minutes to reach the beach b. Check-in and Infra (5/5): We had pre-booked our rooms and hence check-in was hassle-free. The resort is houses 12 cottages, is lovely and very well maintained with lots of greenery. There's a swimming pool as well. Also had free WiFi facility c. Room (5/5): Spacious! There's a queen size bed and they provide additional single bed if requested beforehand d. Food (3/5): Now this is one big area of improvement. One day 1 we had chicken tikka masala, prawns tawa fry and chapatis. Tikka masala was very very oily; prawns were overcooked. For breakfast next day, we had upma, bread-butter and poori-bhaaji, and all items were tasty. For snacks we had potato and onion pakodas and, just like lunch, they were very oily. So, some items are better than others. I'll recommend having lunch and dinner at nearby restaurants instead (there are many khanawals nearby) e. Service (5/5): Fantastic! Very prompt and staff is polite. Special thanks to Vishnu, Praveen and Ashish for being so helpful Additional note: One thing to note is, Betelnut Resort has NO accommodation for drivers. The day we went there, one of the owners was around. When we asked him for driver's accommodation he simply said they don't provide it and that our driver can look for one nearby. His behavior and attitude wasn't welcoming at all. Even smallest of hotels and resorts keep these things in mind so a big one like Betelnut should take care of driver's stay as well. Perfect place for family. The kids loved the swimming pool and play area. Food quality and quality was nice. More menu items are expected but Shev bhaji and Rice bhakari are a must have. Its a nice resort to stay while at Diveagar, but dont get hopes too high. I would say its a reasonable place to stay at its price point vs the facilities. Ambience is good. Although breakfast is complimentary, pohe were cold. There are indoor games that you can enjoy. The beach is at a 10-15 walking distance from here. Rooms are ok but as compare to charges it is very expensive. We were group of 7 adults and 5 kids. Also for additional bed , they were charging 1500rs per bed which is quite very expensive. Breakfast was really nice. Charges of water bottle is 40rs /ltr and colddrink 500ml 60rs. Swimming Pool was clean and spent good time. Floor is very slippery during rain, it can be improved by changing floor stone. Location wise , it is 1.5KM far from beach...which gives less number to this property During rainy season it is a really nice experience with quite excellent views but sitting near beach side is always awesome and better as compared to summar...only thing is don't go into water as water is not clean and oli patches are there which will spoil you legs,feet and where ever it will touch of your body part...
