Katja's Cakes - Shetland Islands

The soup and cakes were delicious, the staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The restaurant has a wonderful view to enjoy while eating or drinking.

I am delighted that we visited Katja's Cakes at Sumburgh Lighthouse, as it is located in a breathtaking spot with expansive views. The coffee was excellent and the cakes were delicious.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at this restaurant while visiting the lighthouse. The filled sandwiches and soup were made fresh to order and tasted great. The service was efficient and friendly. The cafe is small, but has amazing views, so there was a bit of a wait. The cakes looked amazing, but we were too full to try them!

Fabulous view, great service and the unkenbuns (filled rolls) are unusual and most delicious after the walk up from the car park.

It's a very long walk up from the car park to the Museum and café at the lighthouse. The café is very pleasant, as are the staff, and the cakes are amazing; but there are just seven tables, all doubles and one for four, so queueing is almost inevitable. Plenty of puffin-related books and souvenirs in the Museum shop.
