Cracker Barrel - Seymour

Smokehouse order breakfast. Everything was as ordered. Great food as usual. Our waitress was super attentive and pleasant do not remember her name. I think it started with a T. I even brought a piece of cake for my birthday. That's wonderful. Thank you.

Who doesn't love Cracker Barrel? We stopped by most recently, on our way to Illinois. The staff was extremely nice, we didn't have to wait at all for a table, our order came out really fast, and the food was really good. I got a fried chicken special they were having and I have to say, it was a lot of food. I was expecting a couple pieces, but it came with 4 and 2 sides. Needless to say I needed a box. On the way out, we stopped and looked in the shop, which is always a must. I ended up finding Cream Savers which I hadn't seen since I was a kid. All in all, it was yet another great visit to Cracker Barrel.

Normally I would rate Cracker Barrel 5 stars but this time I was a little unhappy with the food and the service. It took about 25 minutes from order to food being served. I ordered a side on hash brown casserole and pinto beans. The food had been sitting for some time as the hash browns were barely warm and the pinto beans had cooled enough to have formed a skin on top of the beans. The pinto beans were barely warm so not very enjoyable. The restaurant had a large staff on duty and we were seated as soon as we got to the hostess corner so staffing was not the problem.

The staff was quite busy, and we waited about 15 minutes, which wasn't too bad. Once we were attended to, our waiter was excellent, the service from the manager was also fantastic, and the food was delicious. Thank you!

I had a wonderful breakfast with excellent service. It's a fantastic spot to gather with friends. The food is consistently fresh and served hot.
