Bidrage med feedbackI ordered a beer, but it was served warm. The appetizer was bland and would have been better served with crackers rather than tortilla chips. I tried the Shepherd's Pie, which came in a very small cast iron skillet. It had good flavor, but it didn't stand out as exceptional. The McBrisket skillet contained only about five or six tiny pieces of beef, topped with a generous amount of mac and cheese, but it was similarly unimpressive. Given the price and the mediocre service, I left feeling disappointed.
The food is flavorful, and they offer some creative menu options. The ambiance is pleasant and leans towards the upscale side. However, they could really benefit from upgrading their glassware. They clearly know how to craft a cocktail, but I received it in a plastic cup that was barely larger than a Dixie cup.
The drinks are appealing, but the food leaves much to be desired. I wouldn't recommend the key lime pie or the shepherd's pie.
It is a very small menu, but still has something for everyone. A romantic, candle-lit atmosphere as well. The food comes up from downstairs, which I thought was neat. The Mac and cheese is absolutely delicious along with the tacos. They even have rotating desserts. It is a little expensive, but one of the finest restaurants in town.Vegetarian options: They do have a few different salad options.Parking: There is street parking but you might have to walk a little ways depending on the time of day.
The food is always delicious! And the service and atmosphere are inviting.
