Bidrage med feedbackVery limited options and VERY VERY EXPENSIVE for such a casual ambiance place. The vibe says wings, pizza, and paper plates with your buddies. The prices say fine wine and white tablecloths. There weren't a lot of options on a Sunday evening in the fall. The seafood was WAY too expensive for what they were offering. Literally can get a 5 star meal at some places for what they're charging here, so we got a pizza, and my husband got a side of fries. We watched the football game while we waited so that was nice. The fries were meh. We left them largely unfinished. I'm super picky about pizza, and their pizza was very good. Sauce and cheese were ok, but the crust was outstanding. It's literally one of the best I've ever had. Toppings were generous by Alaskan standards. Appreciate that the drinks were free refills. From a pizza perspective only, especially if you enjoy sports, imma a say this is a solid 4. They even had a few beers on tap, which may make the difference for some folks. They also have a small deck and a VERY nice view.
Family of five ordered a variety of items off the menu (Rockfish, Halibut, Salmon, crab cake burger, and chicken nuggets). SO good! Fried items were perfectly fried and not over done like most places.
Pricey yes, fresh absolutely, filling definitely, would eat this again. No different than prepared at home, but fresher. International staff takes a bit to understand but are quite friendly.
Things are expensive in Seward and the pickings are slim, but at least this restaurant offers a fair quantity of food and we found the Rockfish Fish and Chips to be as good as anywhere we have tried before. French fries were good. Service was friendly. Ambiance is simple. Clean and well stocked with condiments and supplies. We also had breakfast there in the morning before starting our fishing charter. Again, it exceeded expectations. Simple, quick, and good. Had a breakfast burrito and three breakfast sandwiches. I'd go back.
The salmon looked and tasted fresh. The fries were fresh and hot. Perfectly cooked (needed a bit of salt). Service was efficient. Establishment was clean. There was a football game on (a plus). All in all, a good stop during a cruise ship visit to Seward.
