Bidrage med feedbackReally delicious brunch I tried their avocado toast and a side of roasted potatoes yummy!! Their beverages are yummy too! ?
I love Sabine for a more casual brunch! I love that you order, grab a table, and they bring the food to you for less of a formal sit down brunch but you still get the vibes. They have outdoor seating right in front and they have kind of an indoor/outdoor situation on one side too which is always nice. The food is really good here too although I think just a bit overpriced for the portion. I always end up spending way more than I want to here, but I do really enjoy the spot. The line can get pretty long on the weekends especially with the Ballard farmers market on Sundays, so if you're over 21, you can probably snag a spot at the bar! That's first come first serve and is usually quicker than waiting in line.
Located at the heart of Ballard, this adorable restaurant/bakery has the perfect balance of cafe/quaint brunch spot vibes. The interior is so earthy and welcoming and has an attached roofed patio. Its very nice to relax in and enjoy my meal. I came with a friend and ordered the mushroom toast with a latte. While the mushrooms themselves were so filling and added a lot of flavor with the different types, the zaatar butter and aioli were the winners for me. Something about the two of them together really elevated the dish as a whole.I think generally its a little overpriced for me, but a nice treat if I'm in the area.
When you're not entirely sure you got enough sleep, but the baby is awake and you need a delicious and filling breakfast, Sabine is the place to go. They have a covered outdoor patio where your baby can squirm and cry without disturbing other patrons too much. Additionally the food is in reasonable sized portions, which means you can eat your entire meal while it's still warm. If you don't have a baby to bring, this is a great place for a casual breakfast/lunch with the out of town friends you see once every five years, non-friend coworkers, or a first/blind date. The interior is inviting and charming, and the casual setting (you order at the counter then grab a table) reduces the amount of time you need to fill with awkward small talk. And if you need an excuse, you have to grab your own water so you can walk away from the table long enough to think up a story you can pretend to spontaneously recall with your dining partners later on. The food comes out reasonably quick, but not so fast you question when it was made. The portion sizes are reasonable so you don't end up in a food coma that can lead to poor choices with said non-friend coworkers and first/blind dates. The dishes I think about are: Turkish eggs and BLT. Their baked goods are also to die for: the pain au chocolat has a light crispy exterior, buttery layers, and the right kind of chocolate. I have yet to check out their bar area or dinner scene, but I am looking forward to checking it out at some point.
Truly the best brunch in Ballard. Healthy and delicious and something for everyone. Im GF, my brother is vegan, and my boyfriend loves a good BLT. All amazing. Here’s my fave quinoa breakfast bowl ??? don’t skip on the orange juice!
