Lobster Rail - Searsport

We went to the Lobster Rail this afternoon for lobster rolls. They were truly delicious, full of tender chunks of very fresh lobster with just the right amount of mayo on a toasted bun. Yum! While we were waiting for them to be prepared, we walked over to the ice cream building and peeked inside. The owner invited us in. He is Massimo Ranni, a very energetic and passionate restaurant owner and native of Italy. We can’t wait to go back and try some of his Italian dishes. We badly need some good Italian food in this part of the world and are hoping he succeeds well with his plans.

Food was excellent..I had Fish and Chips which outstanding Laurel has Puttanesca. Wife said it was the best she has ever had.. Fantastic atmosphere, we ate outside on the deck. I would highly recommend this outstanding restaurant..

Ordered takeout on our way home. Super friendly staff, clean atmosphere, and amazing food!!! Ordered the lobster roll and the crab BLT. Highly recommended.

We bookmarked a bunch of lobster roll places on TripAdvisor to check out on our #eatourwaythroughmaine, but you guys weren't on there and we just stumbled on top you. We tried 7 different lobster rolls and you guys were THE BEST hands down!! Loved the lemon so much! Came back tonight and tried your pasta, which was outstanding. The Porcini pasta is so delicious and my husband ordered the cozze. Fantastic!!

Fantastic Italian food added to the traditional seafood menu. Incredible French fries, daily Pasta specials, and very friendly staff. Apparently a bakery and cooking school is coming soon. The owner and his son are incredibly friendly and expert in what they do!!!
