Bidrage med feedbackLove the food! We do not live close, and found this restaurant last year, so we decided we needed to go back this year. Highly recommend.
Excellent “Fire” cocktail and fundido to start. My daughter and I shared the La taquiza #1:four tacos of your choice (we picked a Ropa Vieja taco each, one fish and one carnitas. Very flavorful on good, fresh homemade corn tortillas that did not get soggy. It comes with 2half elote pieces- Sweet, crunchy, with good salty spiced coating; and one chicken tamale. The tamale was a bit too well done. A little hard for my taste. We finished with churros.4 thin crisp tubes with chocolate and raspberry dipping sauces. Very heavy cinnamon coating. Mixed reactions from the table. I will definitely go back for drinks and dinner!
Foods was excellent. But took a long while to get to us. This is not the norm here, probably just a slip up somewhere. Service was good
Good food, gooddrinks made just right, excellent service by Brooke and a very attentive staff. It was DJ night, good music. Not to loud just right.
We ordered the chorizo appetizer and steak tacos (Ye something.. . First, the chorizo appetizer was all cheese. Not much chorizo. The steak tacos were supposed to have poblano peppers and carmelized onions. I don’t know if the chef knows what carmelized onions are. Our tacos were filled with some dried up steak and chopped raw white onion. No accompaniments on plate. Nothing. No sour cream, no tomatoe, nothing. We also ordered a side of rice, which was just some red rice in a bowl, nothing to write home about. In general, this food was all sub-standard. We will not consider a second trip. Who are you hiring to cook, Coyote Cantina???? My Mexican looks better than your food, and I am Italian.... shame on you.
