Bidrage med feedbackI wanted to eat ace and drink with friends. we live in the opposite and looked for the perfect comfort eating away from home. the restaurant was not very busy, but it looks comfortable for a quiet evening. check the menu and appreciate it. that everything was done in the house, or at least that said the menu. we asked the server what they would only recommend to be met with a long uncomfortable pause. her answer was, that's what's popular, what I knew from there that we were in. I ordered the burger with fries and my wife ordered ribs and wings. the burger was advertised as fresh in the house. it certainly tasted nothing so. flat, dry and tasted as if it was frozen. the fries looked like typical shoestring frozen bagged bulk goods. as the burger, not a character. the wings of my wife were best mediocre and not much to them. the ribs were certainly not made today. yesterday they were the rest that were heated and slept with sauce to dress dryness. tapes are suspected, juicy and brightly colored on the inside. that were really dark brown, hard and alone. we have addressed the problem with the server that later revealed that their more important others do not eat here because they do not like eating. eating has nothing to do with the service or server as both were very pleasant. there are many fantastic pubs around this great city and this is not one of them. burger, fries, wings and ripening? Come on, if you don't understand what you can do? fresh bark. freshly cut potato not frozen. wings are a reason for everyone pub and they have it wrong. the ribs. If I had left after, I would have stayed home. we took her home and thrown away the next day. I didn't even eat them the next day and I'm eating everything. a little insulting that the kitchen staff would place them and send them out. I suppose the owner is not the one who cooks the food, they should have a good chat with those who are. about all our take-home thinking were that we were looking for a great local go-to-place. what we got was eating, that seemed to be left and beaten up. the menu and the associated photos are what has tempted us, but the experience was nothing near it. we should have taken photos after that. Once we were in the car, we said we didn't go back. sad as it is home.
My man and I went there a few times over the years and noticed that the service was really bad. the last time we went to a little dinner and visited a few pints, our waitress came to the table quite quickly, took our order and. then we just forgot. she concentrated only on a group and a group. After waiting, I asked her kindly whether she would find out the status of our order. she grabbed me and said with a very dirty look at her face, I just wanted to arrive after about ten minutes eating and she made it very clear that I annoyed her. she didn't come back to the table until we asked for the bill. when it was time to pay/pick, it was all smile. I refused to type them. She made me feel so involuntary. it was bad. I am not a hypersensitive person. We have never returned to this day. I felt so stupid to pay money for eating, just being treated so rudely. that's really weird that they weren't busy at all. don't waste your time and your money.
We have recently enlisted for a family event. the server was surly and offered little when made available for specificities and designing beer. our food arrived only over an hour after us (we immediately came to our reservation). the children were tiny. and we have ordered another article just to satisfy the needs of the children. zitrone huhn was dry and hard, although the sauce was quite delicious. children's dishes came with an option (ice cream), which in turn was very small. fish chips were average. would be willing to pay these prices for better quality food and service. this place has great potential, but not to meet it.
My friends and I went to Ace for lunch. We were seated promptly by a friendly lady. I had the meat soup, which was excellent. My friend tried their signature veal sandwich and said it was the best veal sandwich she had ever had. Our other friends enjoyed the veal sandwich and the Arthur style wings, both agreeing that their meals were delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with several regular customers mingling between tables. I would definitely return to Ace anytime.
Was asked if we wanted a drink as we sat down and were given menus. Our response was give us a minute to decide. After waiting minutes in a half empty restaurant for the return we left. Great experience we figured if it was...to take that long to even order our drinks how long would it take to order our food let alone get it served
