Restaurant du Chateau du Haut-Barr

Very nice restaurant! Of course the restaurant's setting plays its charm! Placed in the fortified enclosure of the Château du Haut-Barr, you can hardly do better! So there are two services, if you really want to take your time, I strongly advise you to take the 20:45 service. Otherwise you can leave on that of 7:00. The terrace disappeared for the benefit of cabanons for raclette evening, grill. I find it a bit of a shame, and it's probably the cause of the establishment of two services because it has greatly reduced the number of tables. It was my first time in this restaurant and I have to say that the dishes are very good qualities. Everything was very good, from the entrance to the dessert, and all in charming company! As I said at the outset, if you want to take your time and have to chat with your partner, I strongly invite you to take the 20:45 service! We stayed until 11:10 in the restaurant, before we realized that we might have to go ahah! But you won't be thrown out, far from there. The service is very well, the whole team follows the pace as it is necessary and there is not to wait 40 minutes between each part (yes, in fact we discussed a lot! You will not regret your visit to this restaurant; Be careful, it's hot enough inside, don't come with too big a sweater, prefer a big jacket!

Service was oppressive. The dishes were good but the accompaniment lacked freshness or taste. Why hide the excellent Presskopf under crudities not season to see cool. A pot-au-feu (very good) with only a turnip and a quarter carrot in a little broth, and why serve again with a crudity plate see above.

A nice restaurant at the Château du Haut barr. The meal was very good, normally garnished and the service was of quality. Dogs are not accepted but handichians yes. Flamed pies are very good, and cheap. The only problem: eating in the entrance that leads to the guest room. Frequent passageway.

Very nice decoration, a little disappointed by the head of calf the dish is a little light, sauce not top ! The waedele jarret is a very good copyy, the poultry money also! The rates are in attached photos. Very nice staff
