Best Vietnamese AND best Gluten Free restaurant in all of Brazil. Great dishes, great service by Wellington.
It's a good restaurant with good food and service. Although, the prices are not so fair, a little but expensive for the food and experience.
Great Pho Bo. Noodles were great, soup was really light but full of flavor. I could recognize ginger and some other spices, but the waiter told it had over 10 spices and is based of cow bones. The dessert was a banana pie with a sweet cream. The pie was lackluster and too hot inside, but I could enjoy it reasonably. Prices are high, as you would expect from the region. Total bill with a cup of juice and waiter's tip was R$72. Would totally try another plate some time.
I went here after exploring Vila Madalena street art. The staff were great and attentive. The place looks nice and I like the history of the restaurant and how it came to be what it is now. However, the food was just okay as it tasted good but nothing to be excited about. I thought the price was a bit expensive for what you get. It’s the same price as any other Vietnamese restaurants in the US but I think they made this place a bit on the fancy side and located in an expensive area of São Paulo thus the prices on their menu were about the same as US prices. I’d still recommend to go here and try it as there’s really not much Vietnamese restaurants in São Paulo.
